Paul Roberts
Paul is a Chartered Physiotherapist and co-founder of our private physiotherapy clinic in Hove, working with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including movement and mobility restrictions, office-related complaints, and persistent pain.
Paul sees the role of the physiotherapist primarily as an educator. He strives to meet patients where they are, taking time to understand their current limitations and helping them make sense of what is contributing to their symptoms. His work is characterised by a patient, methodical, and non-judgemental approach.

Before qualifying as a physiotherapist, Paul spent several years studying and teaching Tai Chi in China, Spain, and the UK, working closely with students managing a variety of musculoskeletal issues. This background continues to shape his focus on movement quality, structured training, and helping people regain confidence in their body.
He also understands persistent back pain from personal experience, which first motivated his interest in pain science, and has shaped his clinical priorities around clear explanations, reassurance, and sustainable self-management.
Having lived in eight countries, Paul brings a strong awareness of cultural differences in communication and care, and strives to make his work inclusive, respectful, and accessible to all.
